Welcome to my website!
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, expected to graduate in 2027. My research lies at the intersection of family, human capital, and conflict, with a broader focus on how socioeconomic environments and public policy shape individual well-being and inequality. I am on the 2026–27 job market. My job market paper, The Long Shadow of Communal Violence: Childhood Exposure and Later-Life Mental Health, studies the long-run consequences of childhood exposure to communal violence on women’s mental health in India.
