My teaching experience spans statistics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics at UC Santa Barbara, with especially extensive experience high-stakes gateway undergrduate courses in which students build the quantitative and analytical foundations needed to advance into the economics major. Teaching these courses has made me particularly attentive to the pressures students face and to the importance of providing clear instruction, structured support, and an inclusive environment in which they feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges.
Over the years, I have progressed from Teaching Assistant to Head Teaching Assistant and, most recently, Instructor. Spending substantial time in each role has allowed me to understand different dimensions of teaching: working closely with students, coordinating large courses, and taking responsibility for my own class. I received the Outstanding Undergraduate Course TA Award in 2025 and am currently completing the Certificate in College and University Teaching.
